The review by the Department of Education, Citizenship and Youth of the financial and legal implications of the transactions undertaken by the Seven Oaks School Division is now complete.
I would like to say that it is regrettable that your concerns were not appropriately responded to.
I can assure you that a number of measures have been undertaken to ensure such a situation does not happen again. A number of recommendations have also been made in the review that will be implemented.
I would like to personally thank you for your commitment to your community and for your interest as a citizen in your community.

Concerned ratepayers may want to examine our own analysis of this report, now posted on our blog. You won’t believe how SOSD tried to cook their books to show a profit, even after their own auditor told them they were wrong, or all the red flags missed by all the elected and appointed officials.
